Advertising on Duderocket

Duderocket offers two types of advertising. Paid advertising and free advertising. If you would like to advertise on our site please contact us using the About Page.

Paid Advertising


Paid advertising is a form of site sponsorship. All money goes towards upkeep of the site itself, and if there is any surplus it will be used for site related activities. For example we may put out a 'Best of Duderocket' yearly print zine or something like that. Duderocket is not for profit and no contributors or administrators receive money (or want to receive money) from the site.

A paid advertisement appears on every page of the site, up the top to the right of the site logo.

Details:

  • Max image width: 468 Pixels (Only 460 pixels will be displayed)
  • Max image height: 100 Pixels
  • Optionally provide a URL for the image to link to
  • Pricing starts at $10 per month. People that can afford to offer more should offer more, as this is an honesty system. $10 per month covers the most basic costs of running the website. $10 per month would be appropriate for a DIY band or small label / promoter / distro, but wouldn't be appropriate for a full commercial company.
  • Duderocket reserves the right to reject any ads we don't find appropriate.

Free Advertising


Duderocket is happy to offer free advertising to any worthy people. For example you may want to promote your new zine, CD, tour or anything else. Free ads appear on the front page only, underneath the News sidebar.

Details:

  • Max image width: 300 Pixels
  • Max image height: 100 Pixels
  • Optionally provide a URL for the image to link to
  • Provide an end date if applicable. For example the end date for a gig would be the day after the gig.
  • Duderocket reserves the right to reject any ads for any reason.
  • Duderocket reserves the right to set an expiry date of their choosing on the ad.
  • Ads will be in a rotation and randomly selected on each page reload.
  • Only intended for small / DIY bands / distros / zines etc.
