Re: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
I heartily endorse this initiative, freaking love FCBD! Gotta to get to Kings early because it fills up pretty quick. Kinokuniya opposite QVB is also worth checking out.
Re: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
This year I'm hoping to get the Mouse Guard anthology hardcover. It's got a story in there based in the Labyrinth (as in Jim Henson/David Bowie Labyrinth) universe, which I hope becomes an ongoing book. That'll probably be the thing most people are after though.
I'm also keen for the Bongo Free-For-All, Peanuts, Donald Duck Comics, and Superman Family Adventures stuff.
Re: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
I finally got around to reading Kick-Ass the other day.
Gonna hit up Grandville soon. It looks cool.
Re: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
The movie is way better hey
Re: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
I think I agree, but I think I also agree with the idea that the movie wasn't really 100% true to the DIY spirit of the comic.
Re: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
I headed into Kings before work this morning and it was freaking hectic with the queue to get in right down the block. I got some sweet (free) shit though.
