yo wassup today i am writing to a very special audience. y’all know who you are. you da readers. yeah wassup READERS. i am going to take you out of your special world of reading and speak to you right now about a very special man – BILL MURRAY. you may be unaware of him because you’re a reader but he is a major FILM SUPERSTAR and alongside pauly shaw and jackie chan he is one of the GREATEST COMEDIANS OF ALL TIME.

bill murray first came to fame in the 60s for his controversial stand up routine where he would burn dollar bills on stage. this is how he got the nickname DOLLAR BILL and even today many of his films make subtle references to this. for example in the otherwise boring borefest lost in translation he goes to a asian and says man i wish you guys would accept my DOLLAR BILL. it was a great moment in an otherwise terrible movie and when i saw it in my loungeroom on a pirate dvd there were a few knowing laughs at this line from those in the know. those in the know being me as i was the only one in the room at the time. i laughed at this bit because i knew where it was comin from. boyyyyyyyyyy.

during the early 70s bill murray successfully dodged being enlisted in the vietnam war. This story is very funny and i won’t spoil it for you because the whole thing was actually filmed as the documentry STRIPES and you can find it in most dvd stores. dollar bill then made a name for himself playing the shady character DEEP THROAT in the first series of the xfiles and he won an EMMY for his amazing work in this series. This also led to him scoring work on A COUNTRY PRACTICE where he played cop-turned-bartender frank. things seemed to go from strength to strength for bill as he now not only had an emmy but his work in a country practice actually won him a LOGIE as well.

not many people know this but bill murray was also in the movie ghostbusters he played the dual role of the one of the ghostbusters and the scary library lady at the beginning as well. this combination of awardwinning makeup special effects and bill murrays excellent acting ability led to him getting other work in movies where people don’t recognise him. for instance did you know that bill murray is also eddie murphy? he has made many films as eddie murphy and between these two names he earns more money than any other actor alive today. bill murray has so much money that he actually owns popular australian courier company STAR TRACK. It is named STAR track because dollar bill is a major STAR and not only does he dominate the comedy and film world but he also dominates the courier industry and he is currently looking to buy the coffee company STARBUCKS but will be changing it’s name to STARBILLS.
